# Berthing at your chosen marina
# Cleaning of your yacht in a low usage condition through to a 24/7
pristine presentation condition.
# In-berth light internal maintenance.
# The arranging of annual scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance as needed at the closest and most suited facility for boats that need to come out of the water and at a nearby in-water maintenance area for those that do not. EYM are not biased and source the most cost-effective and reliable maintenance solution for your boat.
# Regular boat and equipment checks. This includes starting and running of engines and all electrical/mechanical systems on board.
# Intermittent running of the boat at sea if it is not used for charter purposes, and your owner usage is low. It is very important that a boat is used regularly. Sitting idle for months on end simply results in problems more often than not. Boats sit in salty sea water and salty air, so it is to be expected that this will eventually start to have a corrosive or adverse effect on it. There are many mechanical moving parts, these should be allowed to ‘move’ as intended. Electrical systems should also be operated. All should be checked and actually run regularly.

It is also not sufficient to only run checks in situ in the marina. The boat and its parts react differently when under load out at sea. For this reason, EYM set up programs to alternate between in-berth checks and checks made running the engines and system at sea. Every single item can appear to be working on the boat in the berth, yet the moment it gets a mile out to sea things can start to break. Proper use can prevent this or at least significantly increase the lifetime of moving parts.

# It does not take much for a watchful eye at EYM to frequently air the boat, start the engines, run the air-con
and test every switch and item on board. The big difference with boats, other than the sea/air conditions in which they live, is that they are designed as a pleasurable pastime, and that is what you want it to be. The very last thing you need is to fly all the way to the boat for a few days or an even longer vacation, only to find it will not start or something breaks the moment you get out of the marina. Leaving a boat unattended and not maintained and looked after is far more likely to result in this happening.
# Our 3-2-1 service. Vital, regular checks and running of the boat and all systems and items on board, or keeping it ‘warm’ as we like to call it. Taking the boat out for a short run briefly at 3, 2 and 1 week/s before you arrive will most likely ‘catch anything’ that is about to happen, in advance of your arriving, to ensure we can get it resolved as fast as possible. It is no use starting it up a few days before you arrive only to find a small part is needed and it cannot be got in time, hence the regular checks and 3-2-1 approach.
# Yacht positioning. We deliver your boat ‘anywhere’ to you in your region if you wish, and collect it after you use it.
# Storage of co-owner personal effects that cannot be kept on board the boat
# Services of an Ekokat or Ekokat-sourced skipper and crew
# A personal travel/concierge service at specially discounted rates.
